Tanacetum vulgare 'Isla Gold', Golden Leaf Tansy

Sometimes garden visitors think it is a golden fern until they see its July–August gold button flowers. 2 feet tall and slowly spreading, it makes a colony of finely incised golden-green leaves crowned by golden flowers—brilliant! It accommodates a wide range of conditions, naturalizing more quickly in moist humus, less quickly in drier clay. Pleasant herbal aroma.

Mature size: spreading, 2 ft tall and 2-3 ft wide
